SONrise Church Center Calendar


MEN'S BREAKFAST - Gathering Saturday, December 13, at 8am, here at the SONrise building for breakfast, devotion, and fellowship.


JAIL MINISTRY DRIVE - SONrise will be collecting and contributing stamps, non-glitter Christmas cards, and plain white tube socks as we share the gospel with inmates at local jails and prisons. Donations can be dropped off at the designated table in the Commons. The final day for contributions is Sunday, December 14.


SONKIDZ FOOD DRIVE - Help us stock the Land of Goshen Pantry! Needed items: Canned peaches, pears, or mandarin oranges (in light or natural juices), Case of 24 Ramen Noodles, 16oz jars of peanut butter, 5oz cans of tuna, 16oz thin spaghetti. Drop off items before December 14.

SONSENIOR LUNCH - SONseniors (60 and over) are invited to gather for lunch on December 14, after the 10:30am service in the Commons, for a time of connection, encouragement, and fellowship.


SONKIDZ' CHRISTMAS PROGRAM - During the 10:30am service on Sunday, December 21, there will be a special program from SONkidz. Please have all students checked into class between 10am and 10:15am that morning so we can prepare. 


SANTA'S HELPERS, an annual community event that provides presents to area children, is seeking volunteers. Monday, December 15, is prep day with help needed in the afternoon for wrapping gifts, decorating, and filling candy bags. Tuesday, December 16, is event day with kitchen help in the morning and other jobs through the evening, including cleanup after the event. Contact Pastor Brent at (307) 532-0344 for more details.


SONRISE FAMILY CHRISTMAS TREE - On Sunday, after the service, go to the Commons, grab a marker, and create a family ornament to decorate the SONrise Family Christmas Tree by the offices.


CHRISTMAS EVE 2025 - The SONrise candlelight Family Christmas Eve celebrations are on Wednesday, December 24, 4pm and 6pm. The content of both services will be the same. Pick up invitations to hand out as you leave the Worship Center.


WILD GAME FEED - Guys & kids, mark your calendars and join us for the 3rd annual Wild Game Feed on Saturday, January 3. Doors open at 5:30pm. Bring a dish to share for a potluck-style meal (wild game if possible). The best wild-game dish of the night will take home the traveling trophy! Questions? Contact Anthony at (307) 401-2364.
